Cooking and baking Training

Since April – December 2007, forty trainees have successfully completed the Cooking and Baking Training Course. Fifteen of the trainees have existing businesses. They attended the course to gain knowledge in cooking and baking in order to expand their businesses. Half of these trainees did the course in the hope of starting a small business from home and the rest found alternative employment. The course improved their cooking and baking skills and in this way they could make a positive contribution to their households.

On request of Mrs. Gibbs a member of Cafda’s executive committee, the cooking and baking class catered for seventy five (75) tourists who visited the Cafda Stables on the 19th and 20th of September 2007. The tourists enjoyed our delicious savories immensely!

The first training session for 2008 started on the 04/02/2008 – 03/03/2008. Five more training sessions will be held during 2008 with the next training session starting on the 14/04/2008 –12/05/2008.
